Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Project Manager specializing in the wireless industry to lead and oversee complex projects for major wireless carriers, including T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, and PMP certification. This role requires a strong background in wireless network deployments, including 5G, DAS, and Small Cell projects, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities :
- Project Planning and Execution : Lead end-to-end project management for wireless telecommunications projects, including site acquisition, permitting, construction, and network integration.
- Stakeholder Management : Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
- Budget and Timeline Management : Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Vendor and Contractor Oversight : Evaluate, select, and manage vendors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with technical, safety, and quality standards.
- Risk Management : Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
- Compliance : Ensure all projects adhere to industry standards and regulations, including FCC, NESC, NEC, and OSHA requirements.
- Reporting and Documentation : Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, budgets, and closeout documents.
- Customer Collaboration : Work closely with major wireless carriers (T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon) to understand their requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
Qualifications :
Experience :
o Minimum of 3 years of experience in telecommunications project management, specifically in the wireless industry.
o Proven experience working with major wireless carriers such as T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon.
o Strong knowledge of wireless network deployments, including 5G, DAS, and Small Cell technologies.
o Excellent project management, organizational, and leadership skills.
o Strong understanding of wireless construction methods, permitting, and regulatory requirements.
o Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and Microsoft Office Suite.
o Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
