What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technician - Service position at Dash Door & Glass?
Summary/Objective:
The technician/installer position logs and troubleshoots all assigned door and electrical work. This position is customer-facing performing preventative maintenance and emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work effectively in a team environment to monitor, log, resolve, and escalate issues with development, test, and production dispatcher.
- As needed, provide after-hours support of our service environments including, but not limited to, issue resolution, application installations, and service monitoring.
- Follow the established operations procedures to ensure timely resolution or escalation of issues.
- Act as liaison for internal and external communications directly with departments and clients as required.
- Provide status reports of the work performed by conversations and completing work order reports.
- Interact with customers at the technical level, as required.
Requirements
- AAADM and other technical certifications, a plus.
- Prior experience in automatic door and access control preferred.
- Knowledge of door hardware and basic electronics.
- Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Background check and a clean driving record.
