GIS Developer

Job Description

A leading organization is seeking a GIS Developer with expertise in Esri ArcGIS Enterprise to join its Enterprise GIS Team. This role involves designing, developing, and supporting custom GIS solutions integrated with enterprise applications and databases.

🔹 Location: Atlanta, GA 30308 - Hybrid

🔹 Duration: Contract through June 2025, with anticipated renewal

🔹 Experience Level: 7 years of GIS Development

Responsibilities:

✔️ Develop and customize web applications, web services, and mobile GIS solutions

✔️ Build and maintain geoprocessing and GIS web services

✔️ Work with Esri Web/Experience Builder, ArcGIS Portal/Online/Hub, Field Maps

✔️ Support integration with .NET applications, Oracle Exadata, SQL Server, Power BI, and OBIEE

✔️ Perform testing, troubleshooting, and migration of existing applications

✔️ Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams and business units

Required Skills & Experience:

✅ 7 years of programming/application development experience

✅ Strong PL/SQL, SQL, Python Scripting (ArcPy) skills

✅ Experience with Esri ArcGIS Server, Geoprocessing services, and GIS web applications

✅ Hands-on with ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Portal, Experience Builder, and Arcade

✅ Knowledge of spatial analysis, geospatial concepts, and IT security

✅ Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Qualifications:

🔹 Experience with Esri JavaScript API, Geoevent Processor, Roads and Highways, or Image Server

🔹 Knowledge of multi-user geodatabase administration

🔹 Familiarity with Safe Software FME, ArcGIS Pro add-in development

🔹 Relevant certifications such as URISA GISP or Esri Enterprise Certification
