Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Clinical Social Worker with a valid Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) license to join our team in Queens, NY. The Clinical Social Worker will be responsible for providing clinical assessments, documentation, and support to individuals in need of social work services. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, assisting individuals in managing their emotional and psychological well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Maintain and ensure accurate clinical documentation in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
- Provide therapeutic support and counseling to clients dealing with various emotional and psychological challenges.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care to patients.
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet patient goals.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to remain up-to-date with best practices in social work.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 1 year of experience as a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW).
- Clinical Documentation: Expertise in maintaining accurate and compliant clinical records.
- Clinical Assessment: Ability to assess clients' needs, formulate plans, and provide appropriate interventions.
- Proficiency in the English language (speak, read, and write).
Certifications & Licenses:
- Valid Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) license issued by NYSED (New York State Education Department).
- Primary Source Verification of the LMSW license is required.
Education Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
Work Hours:
- Shift Time: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Hours Per Day: 8 hours
- Hours Per Week: 40 hours
