Role Description
This is a permanent role for a Social Work Supervisor position. The role is on-site and located in Southgate, MI. The Social Work Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing social work services, providing supervision to social work staff, conducting case management, and ensuring mental health support for clients. The supervisor will also be involved in creating and implementing care plans, and collaborating with medical professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
Qualifications
- Experience in Social Work and Medical Social Work
- Strong Supervisory Skills and Case Management experience
- Knowledge and experience in Mental Health
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling a related field
- The license in Social Work, LMSW, LLP, LPC is must require
- Must meet the requirements for Children’s Mental Health Professional (CMHP) and Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) within 120 days of hire.
- Additional requirements are good written and verbal communication skills as well as having the ability to be organized, creative, flexible, and provide, non-judgmental, culturally competent, unconditional care.
- Individuals must be highly organized and demonstrate competence in providing services to consumers of psychiatric and specialized services.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a favorable driving record.
- Must have the ability to appropriately handle crises.
