Job Title and Salary
The Graduate Electrical Engineer role offers a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth. As a member of a project team, the successful candidate will perform engineering and design duties, applying their knowledge of electrical AC/DC fundamentals and three-phase power systems.
Key Responsibilities
The Graduate Electrical Engineer will work closely with the project team to create design documents and drawings, including wiring diagrams from schematics, bills of materials, and field mark-ups of project as-built drawings. They will also perform engineering support tasks such as relay burden, lighting, simplified load flow, and short circuit calculations under direct supervision.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university, preferably with a power focus. They should also have Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or the ability to obtain it within one year of hire. Prior internship and/or related work experience in the power field is preferred. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving and analytical skills, demonstrated leadership skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Physical Requirements and Travel
This position requires minimal physical effort, with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
