Purpose:
At DASI, the role of the Regional Account Director is essential in achieving company growth, account penetration and maximizing sales profitability in the assigned territory. Key accountabilities:
- Identify, analyse and establish key accounts within the territory of responsibilities.
- Maintain a strong network of contacts in target accounts and markets.
- Understand key accounts buying processes, key drivers, etc.
- Deliver against sales and account growth targets, including conversion metrics.
- Work with team to establish account acquisition and growth metrics.
- Develop long-term relationships, managing and cultivating customer, co-worker and vendor relationships to acquire aircraft inventory and to generate sales.
- Manage customer communications for requests on price, availability and lead time for the sale of parts.
- Diligently input and maintain accurate and comprehensive customer and prospect information into the company's prospecting tools and utilize data on a consistent basis to generate sales.
- Bring buyer and seller together in price and terms on a timely basis and in a manner that meets the requirements of both parties. Close sales and execute purchases.
- Provide customer support for technical document requests, such as, supplier contacts and information, alternate part numbers, etc.
- Gain intimate understanding of the value of our customers and using this prepare customer visit plans with the Director within budget.
- Represent the company at trade events, conferences and other promotional functions.
- Utilize creativity and out-of-the-box thinking to proactively develop new ideas and/or creative marketing programs to stimulate customer interest and demand, resulting in new approaches to prospecting and lead generation.
- Manage and solve client conflicts.
- Following assigned budgetary guidelines.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

Experience and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or science or equivalent applicable work experience required. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Aviation sales track record required.
- Proven track record of top performance in sales/marketing of commercial aircraft spare parts, preferably in the aftermarket segment.
- Strong knowledge of commercial aircraft spares
- Extensive knowledge of aircraft maintenance and supply chain
