Job Title: Assistant Project Manager
A challenging opportunity exists for an Assistant Project Manager to assist in the completion of technical and administrative functions required to complete project design and construction.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Reading and comprehending plans, specifications, addenda, bid materials, contracts, and other related documents.
- Administering, monitoring, and inputting data into system applications and databases.
- Monitoring project schedules and budgets and preparing project status reports as requested.
- Reviewing technical and environmental submittals for compliance with contract documents.
- Maintaining technical, environmental, and project databases.
In addition to these key responsibilities, the Assistant Project Manager may participate in quality assurance field inspections, train support staff on PC applications, and assist with internal controls implementation, review, and testing.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field, along with two years' construction industry experience with public or private projects. Familiarity with construction systems, including Oracle Contract Manager and PMWeb, is also highly desirable.
