What are the responsibilities and job description for the AC MAINTENANCE CREW LEAD position at Dassault Aviation?
Under the direction of the Crew Chief, the Crew Lead is responsible for the efficient execution of the work scope. The Crew Lead ensures tasks, within the scope of their normally assigned duties, are performed using established standards of quality and airworthiness. The Crew Lead is responsible to the Accountable Manager for Repair Station Operations conducted under 14 CFR 145.
JOBS and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Effectively teams with the respective Maintenance Supervisor and Quality Assurance Inspector assigned to the aircraft to efficiently execute the aircraft work scope and communicates at all levels of the organization and with customers as directed.
- Attends the customer debrief as directed.
- Assigns technicians to perform the tasks as directed by the Crew Chief. Assigns QC Inspector to perform inspection of work performed as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Ensures the use of applicable technical data, including but not limited to, the methods, techniques and practices prescribed in the current manufacturer's maintenance manual.
- Ensures that personnel assigned to perform tasks are qualified to perform the task and identifies training requirements.
- Ensures that aircraft maintenance paperwork and forms are completed in accordance with methods of execution outlined in the RSQCM.
- Provides for the shift turnover requirements as outlined in the RSQCM
- Collaborates and cooperates with the assigned Maintenance Supervisor to achieve the on time and on budget objectives of the work scope.
- Collaborates and cooperates with the assigned QA Inspector to achieve aircraft approval for return to service.
- Drives daily activities toward providing services and deliverables to the customer that meet and exceed customer satisfaction expectations.
- Ensures that crews maintain good housekeeping practices by utilizing a 5S system of "sort, set in order, shine, standardize, and sustain." Takes immediate action to maintain a clean safe environment.
- Maintains a focus on Human Factors in the workplace and drives to zero defects in workmanship and safety.
- Supports the Maintenance Error Analysis Process (MEAP).
- Contributes to the annual training needs assessment exercise required by the Repair Station Training Program.
Supports the corporate mission and vision through achievement of department goals and objectives, contributes to process improvement and the development of strategies that improve customer service and the maintenance process.
