Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the warranty programs' claim process, identifying process improvements, and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure a positive customer experience and smooth claim process.
This role requires strong negotiation and contract management skills, proven analytical abilities, and experience with data-driven decision making. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with SAP is also necessary.
In this position, you will work closely with the Material group to help them ensure vendor accountability for warranty-related costs due to parts defects or quality issues. You will implement process feedback loops with quality assurance and engineering teams to address parts' issues that contribute to warranty claims.
You will analyze warranty claims data to identify trends, root causes, and recurring parts' issues. You will set up detailed reports and dashboards for senior leadership, highlighting claims performance, recovery rates, and opportunities for cost reduction.
Additionally, you will provide general administrative support to the warranty team as needed, participate in special projects or cross-functional initiatives, and back-up support for other team members within the department during absences.
