Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled NC Programmer to join our team in Fort Worth, TX. The ideal candidate will have experience in NC Programming, Catia V-5 modeling and surfacing, and hands-on expertise with mills and lathes. This role involves creating and optimizing numerically controlled (NC) programs for production, tooling, and manufacturing development projects, ensuring precision and efficiency in manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize NC programs for numerically controlled production, tooling, and manufacturing development projects.
- Create additional lines and surfaces graphically or mathematically to meet part, tool, and tooling fixture requirements within predetermined tolerances.
- Collaborate with engineering personnel to discuss and implement design changes when necessary to meet tooling or manufacturing standards.
- Maintain complete documentation of programs to ensure effective process control.
- Create tooling/material sketches, numerically controlled setup sheets, dimensional charts, material sketches, and machine operation diagrams.
- Determine the most efficient and expedient methods of lofting and fabricating using numerical control methods and sheet metal standards.
- Schedule multiple assignments, provide reliable cost/hour estimates, and direct the workflow of other individuals as needed.
- Assist the Manufacturing Operations department with program follow-up and troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of college education or equivalent experience with coursework in:
- Math through Trigonometry and Analytical Geometry
- Engineering Materials
- Processing Technology
- Manufacturing Methods and Procedures
- NC Programming experience with a strong understanding of mills and lathes.
- Proficiency in Catia V-5 modeling and surfacing.
- Knowledge of CADAM, CATIA, and APT programming.
- Familiarity with Engineering, Tool Design, Manufacturing, and Planning/NC Programming processes and procedures.
- Ability to interpret engineering information and create detailed sketches, charts, and diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in aerospace or manufacturing industries.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to transition to 2nd shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM) as workload demands.

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
