Software Quality Assurance Analyst

In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to our quality assurance development team, responsible for initially supporting our GoBanking platform through rigorous manual and automated testing. You’ll help ensure that every release is polished and production-ready, playing a vital part in helping our community bank clients thrive with top-tier digital tools.

What You'll Do

Key responsibilities include:

• Create and execute manual test cases to ensure software quality for new and existing features.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and SCRUM masters to resolve defects and optimize functionality.
• Log, track, and retest defects using Azure DevOps (ADO), ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and agile ceremonies, offering test updates and sharing QA insights.
• Support release cycles by validating staging environments and communicating results to stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of our QA processes and test case libraries.
• Develop test automation skills, with mentorship and support from the QA Manager.
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger to validate back-end functionality.

What Will Help You Stand Out:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Previous work experience in the banking or financial services industry.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and integrating automation into release workflows.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment as a team grows from the ground up.

Imagine starting your day by participating in a SCRUM stand-up, sharing your testing progress and collaborating with developers on bug fixes. You then dive into writing or executing test cases for new GoBanking features, logging issues in Azure DevOps and validating fixes. Throughout the day, you’ll analyze results, rerun staging scenarios, and partner with your manager on automation strategies—knowing your work directly enhances the tools that empower community banks.

What We're Looking For

To be considered for this role, you'll need the following required qualifications:

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in a software quality assurance role.
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium (preference), TestComplete, Appium, or Playwright).
• Proficiency with manual testing and creating test cases for new software features.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools, especially Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and raise questions or blockers confidently.
• Strong planning and analytical thinking skills; detail-oriented and self-motivated.
