Job Summary:
We are looking for an Apprentice Field Technician to assist in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical power systems in data centers. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn and grow in a technical environment, assisting experienced engineers, and providing customer service as you develop your skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing preventive maintenance and corrective services on UPS and power equipment.
- Support experienced engineers in troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues.
- Assist with installation and commissioning of new systems and equipment.
- Help maintain inventory tracking and return electronic equipment to designated locations.
- Document service visits, helping build our knowledge base.
- Follow safety protocols, cybersecurity standards, and compliance requirements.
- Participate in customer interactions, providing basic support and answering operational questions.
Qualifications:
- Education & Experience: No prior experience required, but a technical background or coursework in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of electrical systems and power distribution is a plus. Familiarity with computers and office software (MS Office) is helpful.
