We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Data Center Engineer with hands-on expertise in VMware virtualization, Cisco UCS server architecture, and enterprise data center operations. The ideal candidate will hold VMware VCP certification and Cisco CCIE Data Center certification, with proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining mission-critical infrastructure in large-scale environments.
- Design, deploy, and manage VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi hosts, vCenter, and virtual networking/storage.
- Architect and administer Cisco UCS infrastructure including Fabric Interconnects, UCS Manager, Service Profiles, and integration with SAN/NAS storage.
- Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for complex virtualization and server issues across the data center.
- Implement and enforce best practices for data center operations, security, and disaster recovery.
- Collaborate with networking, storage, and application teams to ensure seamless infrastructure performance.
- Perform upgrades, patches, and capacity planning for VMware and Cisco UCS systems.
- Create and maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures.
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) – Required
- Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) – Data Center – Required
- 5 years of experience managing VMware environments in enterprise data centers
- 5 years of experience with Cisco UCS B-Series and C-Series servers, and related networking/storage components
- Strong understanding of virtualization, compute, networking, and storage in a converged infrastructure
- Proficient in tools such as vCenter, UCS Manager, VMware Update Manager, and Cisco Intersight
- Experience with automation and scripting (PowerCLI, Python, etc.) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
