What are the responsibilities and job description for the SCA Duplicating Machine Operator - A (3:30pm-12:00am) position at Data Dimensions, LLC?
Onboarding: Remotely on Friday, March 7th from 9am-2pm
Training: Onsite training would begin the following Monday. Training would begin on first shift (Mon-Wednesday) from 8am-3:30pm, then transition to regular schedule of 2nd shift hours (3:30pm-12am) Thursday-Friday and beyond.
Regular Schedule: Monday-Friday 3:30pm-12am. Overtime can be expected regularly throughout the week as well as Saturdays.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the scanning equipment.
This includes processing prepped documents onto scanner, and making appropriate adjustments. - Retrieves box from the shelf and removes documents from the box in sort order.
- Jog paper source for proper imaging feed prior to scanning.
- Scans paper documents to reproduce as digital copy to be stored on a secure server. Repack hard copy to be shipped for storage.
- Inputs appropriate settings onto scanner computer screen by manipulating a mouse, typing from a keyboard or using the touchscreen.
- Analyzes documents in order to produce the appropriate shades and best resolution.
- Keep accurate account of time spent on each client’s work, including time spent obtaining information, scanning, prepping, or other functions.
- Troubleshooting technical difficulties and making appropriate adjustments.
- Performs daily maintenance of scanner machine.
- Reference work instructions as needed.
- Required to attend mandatory meetings and trainings, work scheduled overtime with minimal notice, and perform other duties as assigned per business needs.
Qualification Requirements:
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Able to read, write and speak English.
- Able to maintain confidential information.
- Successfully pass and maintain acceptable background checks and security clearances.
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Basic computer knowledge and Microsoft Suite experience.
