Job Description

The Benefits Analyst will report to the Senior Manager, HR Operations and will play a crucial role in ensuring effective implementation, communication and administration of employee benefit programs in the US. The primary function will be to manage and administer DDN’s company benefits for over 500 US based employees including medical dental, vision, life insurance, disability, employee assistance and 401 (k) programs. This position will also support the Wellness Program, Compliance Projects and recommend best practices. This is a hybrid role with flexibility to work both remotely and in the Chatsworth, CA office.

Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

• Play a crucial role in ensuring effective implementation, communication and administration of employee self insured benefit programs in the US
• Administration of DDN Benefit invoices, processes and reconciliation of accounts 
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits-related questions and provide quick resolution
• Develop and execute benefit communications including Open Enrollment and other benefit related initiatives
• Support the 401 (k) program, audits and plan designs
• Oversees the Wellness Programs which includes any new Program initiatives
• Act as the liaison between the company, employees, TPA and benefit providers, ensuring smooth operation of benefits enrollment, maintenance, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations

Qualifications for this role are:

• Have 3 to 5 years or more of experience as a benefits analyst
• Experience working with ADP (or other HRIS) in generating standard reports and file feeds
• Strong background in benefits administration, deep understanding of employee benefit programs and excellent analytical skill
• Strong customer service skills with internal clients and managing resolution process
• Solid understanding of employee benefits laws and regulations which includes compliance with the Affordable Care Act (ACA), COBRA, HIPAA, and other relevant policies and laws
• Innovative thinker with new approaches to create new benefit programs and processes
• Knowledge of invoicing and vendor management processes
• Team oriented attitude and willing to do what it takes to get the job done
• Knowledge of Microsoft office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is not required but strongly preferred

Pay Range: $65,000-$85,000k

Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
