Job Description
We are currently seeking a Sr. Manager, HR Operations. The successful candidate will help direct the planning, development and implementation for the Human Resources Operations group which consist of HRMS, Benefits, Payroll, Diversity/EEO reporting and compliance and Employee recognition. He/she will advise the VPHR on policies, programs and actions to create a positive work environment for attracting, retaining and motivating top talent to drive overall company growth and success. We are targeting candidates who can work hybrid out of Chatsworth, CA and ideally be in the office 1-2 days a week. However, we will also consider fully remote candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Human Resources Operations team aligning with the HR Strategic direction
- Partner with the management team to develop and implement people programs that align with employee advocacy and overall company goals and objectives
- Manage the Payroll function and ensure accuracy and payroll reporting are completed timely and accurately
- Direct the review and implementation of comprehensive and innovative benefit programs that are competitive and cost effective
- Foster an engaging and positive work environment with internal clients and vendors
- Advise VPHR and management to mitigate risk while balancing legal requirements and business needs
- Manage and encourage employee recognition for celebrating high performance
- Understanding of ERISA laws and compliance with other state and federal agencies
Qualifications:
- BA in Business or applicable degree
- 8 or more years managing HR Operations including managing team members
- Strong analytical and decision making skills to analyze situations and provide practical recommendation
- HRMS systems knowledge and strong excel skills
- Knowledge or EEO/AAP compliance, reporting and metrics
- Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with senior business leaders
- Strong leadership capabilities with proven ability to foster an environment of positive employee engagement and trust
- Good interpersonal skills that will create a welcoming and collaborative work environment
Targeting $110-140k, but negotiable for the right candidate. This position is bonus eligible.
