Data Directions is looking to grow its development staff.
As part of our growth strategy, we are looking for intern candidates that have
software development experience in Computer Science or Information Systems
programs.
We know there are a lot of future developers looking for work experience. We
only want a select few. We are hoping you might be one of those.

You would be working with our in-house senior development team on
active business development projects. These include public websites, web
applications, intranet applications, reporting, interface, and application
development support work. Other activities may include general IT and project
support.
Software development experience should include a healthy mix of html,
javascript, css, xml, sql, c#.net, vb.net. java, php, and related technologies.
Familiarity with development frameworks and design patterns would be ideal.

technical training.
Our consultants support our clients in project management, business analysis,
system design, software engineering and programming. We are seeking experienced
Web Developers to complement our consulting staff.

Desirable skill sets
• Java
• Spring (Spring MVC, Spring Authentication, etc.)
• ORM (iBatis and Hibernate)
• JSP and Servlets
• OOAD
• Client-side experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Database experience with at least one of the following – Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL including stored procedures, functions and triggers.
• Application server experience with at least one of the following – Jetty, Resin, Tomcat, WebSphere, WebLogic, or JBoss
• Experience with Eclipse Java IDE or MS Visual Studio/.Net Framework
• ASP.Net
• Experience with Ajax-enabled features for web sites

• Ability to architect solutions from database design to user-interface
• Ability to review design documents and prepare estimates for application construction
• Familiarity with standards and trends in web application development

Requirements
Applicants must be seeking a degree in and have at least one to two years of college in Information Systems or Computer Science.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, and work references are desirable.
