What are the responsibilities and job description for the Test Technician position at Data Electronic Devices?

Primary Responsibilities of the Test Tecnician:
- Perform functional, In-Circuit test
- Troubleshoot PCBs down to the component level
- Working knowledge of electronics and PCB troubleshooting
- Test both Functional and ICT using a computer and basic electronic test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, etc.
- Use of basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, torque wrenches, hex drives, etc. to prepare for testing, and prepare units for shipment
- Works to prints, sketches, schematics, specifications, process sheets, and outlines.
- Follow written, verbal, and demonstrated steps and instructions.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and precautions
Qualifications of the Test Technician:
- 1-2 years of specialized electronics education or a minimum of 2 years of experience in both electronics testing and troubleshooting.
- Ability to use electrical test equipment, including oscilloscopes, digital voltmeters, etc.
- Firm understanding of both digital and analog circuits.
- Must be able to troubleshoot PCBs to the component level.
