The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of low voltage systems and be proficient in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various low voltage equipment. This role is essential for ensuring the seamless operation of security systems, telecommunications, and other low voltage infrastructures.
Duties
Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems including Security Surveillance Camera, Audio / Video, and Intercom Door Access systems.
Utilize hand tools and power tools with finesse to complete installations according to schematics.
Perform cabling pulling for structured wiring systems ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Conduct system design assessments and use of Fluke Testers for Certification.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing low voltage systems in a timely manner.
Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
Provide exceptional service during installations and tidiness after.
Experience
Proven experience working with low voltage systems is required.
Familiarity with computer networking principles is essential.
Experience in 2N Access Control & Ubiquiti systems installation is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, Blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary for success in this role.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with management and team members.
Attention to details and organization of tools is imperative.
