IT Analyst II

Job Summary

This role will involve supporting and managing IT operations, IT networks, IT infrastructure, and IT data centers. Only candidates with prior FAA/DOT/Federal Govt experience will be considered, with a strong preference for those who have worked at the FAA recently.

Responsibilities:

• Providing Information technology services in facilities planning, operations and support
• Providing Storage systems analysis, design/test, and administration.
• Managing Network operations and infrastructure services.
• Administering/Designing and Testing Cloud services.
• Managing, maintaining and monitoring the infrastructure that supports user authentication;
• Administering Microsoft Windows Active Directory domains using standard Microsoft snap-ins such as Active Directory Users and Computers, Domains and Trusts, Sites and Services, and others as necessary; and
• Overseeing Azure Cloud Tenant administration
• Providing support for system image creation using current processes including, but not limited to, Microsoft Development Toolkit for Windows and similar for MAC OSX and IOS;
• Providing VDI support including installation, configuration, and operations of the environment.
• Providing support for the operations management of O365 services and Lotus Notes applications, and delivery of core messaging functions
• Providing operational support such as incident resolution, incident escalation, critical situation disposition and closure
• Providing endpoint device anti-virus and encryption protection
• Providing Systems Administration support for virtualization platforms such as VMware (to include upgrading, managing, provisioning servers and version upgrades of VM Hosts);
• Supporting and maintaining firewalls, Network Access Control system, DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (IPAM)
• Designing, developing, testing, implementing, documenting ) and maintaining the Storage Area Network (SAN), servers, Hyperconverged clusters, and appliance infrastructure architecture hosted internally or in the cloud

Must have experience with and certifications in a variety of platforms and tools including:

• Experience with Avamar, VXRails, Nutanix, and Cloud Native based solutions (Azure and AWS)
• Experience installing Linux RedHat and Microsoft Windows
• Experience with O365 services and Lotus Notes applications
• Experience with Microsoft Purview
• Experience with Tanium, Intune
• Experience with VMware
• Experience with Microsoft Defender for Office
• Experience with Microsoft Azure or/and AWS

Qualifications and Special Knowledge Requirements

a) Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business systems, management information systems, IT management, and/or other IT degree (engineering, math, and science related degrees are acceptable substitute degrees).

b) Five (8) years relevant experience

Pay: $80,000.00 - $122,158.00 per year
