Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role to ensure operations and business transactions follow all relevant statutory and vendor requirements and all company policies, allowing Data Facts to operate in a legal, compliant, and ethical manner while meeting our business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Credentials new clients and reviews client signed Agreements to ensure completion and accuracy, obtains physical inspections for client locations as needed, orders client subcodes from credit bureaus, and uploads client file to ensure accessibility. Performs analysis of data and maintains credentialing log.
- Performs quality control audits on existing clients to verify FCRA permissible purpose for requesting reports, verify current users, and ensure existing client agreements meet current requirements. Maintains audit tracking reports.
- Prepares audit documentation, including compiling and analyzing internal and external information for credit bureau, SOC, accreditation, vendors, and other audits.
- Responds to consumer inquiries and requests for information regarding consumer reports. Sends copies of reports to consumers when requested. Maintains inquiry tracking reports.
- Prepares, submits, and manages consumer disputes. Verifies data, initiates re-investigations, manages dispute files, updates tracking reports and correspondence, and performs analysis of dispute data. Serves as liaison between consumer and credit repositories. Updates client and consumer of outcomes of disputes.
- Performs monthly quality control audits on a sample of reports to detect mistakes, analyze issues, and identify error trends. Meets with Operations managers to review results and recommend improvements and efficiencies.
- Performs annual vendor quality control audits to verify accuracy of information they provide. Analyzes data by vendor, reports results to Operations managers.
- Manages user setups and serves as account administrator for the Experian Business Credit portal. Maintains list of users for accounting purposes.
- Responds to requests for due diligence information from clients and vendors. Compiles information and documentation. Performs research to determine answers for due diligence questionnaires. Maintains due diligence tracking log.
- Provides support in the implementation of compliance systems, procedures, and policies; develops and completes projects and reports in support of compliance initiatives.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have a college degree, preferably in a business-related field, and at least 3 - 5 years of experience working in a related position.
- Experience in the Consumer Reporting industry and/or compliance/legal expertise would be very beneficial.
- Attention to detail is an extremely important skill for this position, as well as the ability to multi-task and follow through on projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook are required.
- The successful candidate will possess strong problem-solving, time management, and decision-making skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- The Compliance Analyst must be results oriented, analytical, and detail oriented, and demonstrate the ability to interact successfully with both consumers and upper-level executives.

Pay: $19.50 - $23.00 per hour
