Data Intelligence, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Storage Administrator (Cloud Architect) to support the U.S. Navy at the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in cloud technologies and systems engineering to provide critical technical support for cloud deployments, storage solutions, and network infrastructure, ensuring they align with DoD/DON IT security requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze application requirements, providing engineering planning and design assistance for cloud architectures and storage solutions.
- Recommend equipment and components, ensuring compliance with established standards.
- Provide installation and testing support, including verification and validation, and prepare/review documentation.
- Collaborate with customers, contractors, and stakeholders in face-to-face meetings to address technical needs and respond to requests for information.
- Support technical meetings, interchanges, and enterprise working groups to align solutions with the Navy's goals.
- Gather requirements through a formalized approach, covering Cloud, collaboration tools, DevOps, network connectivity, and high-performance computing.
- Identify authorized Department of Navy offerings such as NR&DE Cloud, DISA Cloud, and other solutions.
- Analyze solutions to leverage authorized offerings related to cloud technologies.
- Develop and recommend solutions to bridge gaps between existing capabilities and departmental requirements.
- Create a Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) to address short-, mid-, and long-term solutions for cloud deployments.
- Assist in developing Change Management, provisioning, and management processes, as well as supporting associated documentation.
- Define success criteria for cloud deployments and determine the best-fit cloud solutions for existing projects.
- Work closely with network infrastructure and RMF accreditation teams to resolve challenges associated with cloud deployment.
- Ensure that cloud deployments are aligned with DoD/DON IT security and infrastructure requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s level degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software engineering services supporting network architecture, data, voice, and video applications.
- Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles, configuration management, and mission planning/scheduling.
- Expertise in systems engineering and sustainment of existing baseline infrastructure.
- Current, active security clearance that is Secret or higher.
