It would be great but not required that you:
Have a high school diploma or GED
The main job responsibilities that you should be familiar with as a Bindery machine operator:
- Learn the basic operation of the machine, including all safety features
- Handle basic troubleshooting of machine issues to maintain production
- Perform machine quality checks as required
- Separate materials correctly per instructions
The main job responsibilities that you should be familiar with as an Insert operator:
- Comprehend quality review requirements and execute them properly
- Learn to fix minor machine issues and restart the machine when necessary
- Ensure there is sufficient material at the machine so production can continue seamlessly
- Follow USPS sorting regulations for creating bundles/trays/pallets
