Data Initiatives Program Manager - Remote Work | WFH
Remote / Work From Home with very infrequent travel to the Arlington VA office
40 hrs / week || C2C / 1099 are ok
Client on East Coast (Washington DC area)
Excellent communications skills. Experience managing and improving and improving PMO processes in a complex corporate environment. Experience with Data Management Systems, and Coordination and Facilitation of Communication and coordination across Executive Steering Commitee, Program Leadership and Implementation Teams.
You will work with the data program leadership team (product and technology directors) to ensure effective and collaborative execution of the program.
High Level Description:
Establish/mature a program-wide 1-3 year roadmap representing product and technology needs.
Work with Data Program teams to ensure timely delivery.
Work with the Technology Directors on Gaps, Impediments and Executables.
Steering committee: Creation, planning and facilitation of a steering committee with IT and Business Executives
Data Program Metrics: Identify, Prioritize, Improve, and Collect
Facilitation and maturation of the program’s current 4-month planning cycle. This includes assisting with planning, timelines, communications, status reporting, etc.
Improve Risk Management Approach and Assess Risks
Skills & Experience:
Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills to engage with both the technical and business teams.
5 Yrs Project Governance and Program Management.
10 Yrs Data Systems and Data Governance Specific Project Management
Understanding of Agile and Waterfall Methodologies.
8 Yrs working with leadership teams to identify and drive priorities.
Modern IT Technical/ Software / Systems implementation experience
5 yrs of organizaiton change management experience
Prefered if have LEAN experience / certification
Flexibility to work on multiple initiatives.
Conflict Resolution and Problem Solving Skills
Teamwork and motivational skills
8 Years driving change in a complex matrixed organization
