What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector position at Data MetalCraft Inc?
Data Metalcraft Inc is hiring a Quality Inspector to learn and grow with our company. DMI is a manufacturer of formed sheet metal and welded fiber optic cabinets. We are an A rated supplier to our vendors and develop long lasting relationships.
Responsibilities:
- In-process, and final inspection ensuring products meet quality conformance and customer requirements
- Communicate issues found using established reporting processes
- Document and quarantine non-conforming parts
- Calibrate and maintain inventory of measuring equipment
- Inspect Incoming products from vendors
- Follow all department safety rules and regulations
- Requirements:
- Read and understand blueprints
- Must be able to use and read measuring equipment
- Must pay attention to detail with strong organization and communication skills
- Must make sound decisions with good judgment
- Must have basic computer knowledge
- Must be able to work with a team with a positive attitude
Qualifications:
- Must be able to spend long periods of time on feet standing or walking
- Must be able to lift, up to 50lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Four years of experience in relevant production position
- Pay Frequency: Weekly
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
