THIS POSITION IS IN HINES, ILLINOIS
This position requires a minimum of two (2) years' experience with five (5) years' preferred in supervising warehouse logistical operations. Must possess the knowledge of a broad range of supply program relationships in order to conduct studies, reviews and investigations. A thorough knowledge of policies and procedures are required to manage and control material through the receipt, storage, warehousing, issue, packing, and transportation functions. Knowledge possessed shall be intermediate to advance in logistics with experience in supply chain management (e.g. shipping, receiving, order fulfillment process and procedures.) Conflict management skills and the ability to anticipate and solve problems. Time management skills in order to adhere to scheduling and prioritizing. Possess the knowledge and skills required to plan, control, manage, and successfully complete the work. Requires Tier 1 Local Background Investigation BI.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Pass a Tier 1 Local Background Investigation BI.
- Conduct studies, reviews and investigates supply program relationships.
- Possess the required knowledge of policies and procedures to manage and control material through the receipt, storage, warehousing, issue, packing, and transportation functions.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge in logistics with experience in supply chain management (e.g. shipping, receiving, order fulfillment processes and procedures.)
- Conflict management skills and the ability to anticipate and solve problems.
- Adhere to scheduling and prioritizing.
- Possess the knowledge and skills required to plan, control, manage, and successfully complete the work.
- Work requires pushing loaded carts of supplies.
- Communications (written and verbal) concering warehouse inventories, processes and procedures to support the Logistics Divisions and their customers must be completed in English.
Skills & Abilities:
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required. One to two years of higher education or Technical/Trade education equivalent.
Experience: Minimum two (2) years' experience with five (5) years' preferred in supervising warehouse logistical operations.
Computer Skills: Basic computer knowledge and skills, typing proficiency.
Certifications & Licenses: Trained, qualified, certified, and/or licensed as required prior to starting work; forklift
Other Requirements: Ability to operate pallet jacks, hand cart and forklifts as well as other government furnished warehouse equipment; Other additional duties as assigned by Management.
Physical Demands:
Constance: Standing, walking, manually manipulate, reach outward, reach above shoulder, grasp, speak, lift up to 50 lbs., push/pull up to 50 lbs.
Frequently: sit, and bend
Occasionally: climb, crawl, squat/kneel
