Power BI Architect

Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Power BI Architect to set up and optimize Power BI in Microsoft Fabric from scratch. expertise in enterprise BI solutions, governance, security, and performance tuning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a scalable Power BI environment in Fabric.
- Define data governance, security models, and performance optimization strategies.
- Work with stakeholders to align Power BI solutions with business needs.
- Manage workspace setup, dataset modeling, dataflows, and capacity planning.
- Integrate Fabric Lakehouse, Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Services.
- Optimize DAX, Power Query, and SQL for large-scale reporting.
- Support migration from legacy BI tools to Power BI and Fabric.
- Train teams on Power BI best practices and self-service analytics.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10 years in BI & Data Analytics, 5 years in Power BI architecture.
- Expertise in Power BI Service, Fabric, Dataflows, and Direct Lake Mode.
- Strong skills in DAX, Power Query (M), SQL, and performance tuning.
- Experience with RLS, OLS, governance, and compliance policies.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse, Data Factory, and Fabric Lakehouse.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft certifications (Power BI, Fabric, Azure Data).
- Experience migrating legacy BI tools (Tableau, Qlik, SSRS) to Power BI.
- Knowledge of data lineage, metadata management, and advanced analytics.
Work Location:
- Onsite Northville, MI (Must work from our office).
