HR Specialist
Location: 100% On-Site | 5 Days Per Week
Job Summary:
We are seeking an HR Specialist to oversee and support various Human Resources functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of employee relations, full-cycle recruiting, and employment law. This role is essential in maintaining company policies, ensuring compliance, and fostering a productive workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage recruitment and onboarding, including job requisitions, offers, pre-employment activities, and compliance reporting.
- Prepare and analyze HR reports for leadership and maintain accurate employee records.
- Coordinate and conduct training programs in accordance with company policies.
- Assist with employee relations and vendor communication.
- Lead new hire orientation, ensuring policies and procedures are understood.
- Support employee recognition programs.
- Participate in safety initiatives, including audits, training, and compliance efforts.
- Compile and analyze HR data for reporting and decision-making.
- Assist the HR Manager with community engagement activities and corporate initiatives.
- Perform other HR-related tasks as assigned.
Technical Skills & Knowledge:
- Proficiency in Google Suite and HRIS platforms (Workday, ADP, ATS, PeopleSoft, etc.).
- Understanding of HR concepts, employment law, and OSHA compliance.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
General Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 10 lbs.

- Strong vision and dexterity for office tasks.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $27.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
