A global leader in automotive manufacturing is seeking an MES Operator to support production operations by utilizing the Manufacturing Execution System (MES). In this role, you will monitor job queues, track work-in-progress transactions, record quality data, and ensure accurate material tracking within the system. You will work closely with production teams to execute manufacturing processes efficiently and report exceptions when necessary.
This role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency with digital manufacturing systems, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures to maintain production accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- View and manage dispatch lists for jobs in the work queue to ensure efficient workflow.
- Access job components and follow work instructions within the MES system.
- Perform work-in-process transactions, including job moves, completions, and assembly scrap recording.
- Accurately document quality results and material transactions to maintain production records.
- Report any issues or exceptions that prevent successful job transactions.
- Log time and labor data to ensure accurate production reporting.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience
- High school diploma and technical degree preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Oracle, or similar digital manufacturing platforms is a plus.
Technical Skills & Competencies
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and production workflows.
- Familiarity with MES software and digital tracking systems.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions within a computerized system.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record data.
- Basic problem-solving skills to identify and report job exceptions.
Soft Skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with production teams.
- Willingness to learn new systems and adapt to evolving manufacturing technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with Oracle MES Workstations or similar manufacturing software.
- Understanding of material tracking, quality control, and production data entry.

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
