A global leader in automotive manufacturing is seeking an MES Operator to support production operations by utilizing the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) . In this role, you will monitor job queues, track work-in-progress transactions, record quality data, and ensure accurate material tracking within the system. You will work closely with production teams to execute manufacturing processes efficiently and report exceptions when necessary.
This role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency with digital manufacturing systems, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures to maintain production accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- View and manage dispatch lists for jobs in the work queue to ensure efficient workflow.
- Access job components and follow work instructions within the MES system.
- Perform work-in-process transactions, including job moves, completions, and assembly scrap recording.
- Accurately document quality results and material transactions to maintain production records.
- Report any issues or exceptions that prevent successful job transactions.
- Log time and labor data to ensure accurate production reporting.
