Job Description
We are seeking an experienced architect to join our Field Engineering Team as a Sr Field Engineer. This position will support the deployment of Dataiku's Everyday AI Platform to a growing customer base in the East region. As a Senior Field Engineer, you will work with customers on their enterprise-wide deployments of Dataiku. In this role, you will help customers design, build, validate, and operate Dataiku's Everyday AI Platform.
Responsibilities
- Evangelize the challenges of building Enterprise Data Science Platforms to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Understand customer requirements in terms of scalability, availability, and security and provide architecture for Dataiku in a large variety of technical environments.
- Design and build reference architectures, decks, scripts, and diagrams to make the deployment and maintenance of Dataiku smooth and easy.
- C coordinate with Revenue and Customer teams to deliver a consistent experience and message to our customers.
Requirements
- Strong Linux system administration experience.
- Hands-on experience with the Kubernetes ecosystem for setup, administration, troubleshooting, and tuning.
- Experience with cloud-based services like AWS, GCP, and Azure.
What You'll Need
- Comfort and confidence in client-facing interactions.
- Hands-on experience with the Hadoop and/or Spark ecosystem for setup, administration, troubleshooting, and tuning.
- Some experience with Python.
Compensation and Benefits
The final compensation package for this role will be determined during the interview process and is based on a variety of factors, including geographic location, internal equity, education, skill set, experience, and training. Eligible roles may also be entitled to receive commission or other variable compensation through Dataiku's incentive compensation program.
