Title: IT Tester
Duration: 18 Months (With Possible Extension)
Location: Baton Rouge, LA
The scope of the proposed services will include the following:
*) Reviewing requirements and/or user stories to develop and execute test cases, scenarios, and/or scripts.
*) Primarily serve as a quality assurance software tester.
*) Document and report test outcomes, including logging bugs or defects.
*) Develop a test plan, monitor and report progress, and identify and manage dependencies.
*) Testing all aspects of application components for compliance with the provided specifications and user stories. Ex: usability, functionality, exploratory, system, smoke, monkey, and compatibility testing.
*) Coordinate test activities, including technical and security testing, with other team members and OTS verticals
Provide technical/non-technical knowledge transfer of testing processes.
*) Develop and/or assist with project work plans, timelines, status reports, release notes, and other documentation; disseminate information as needed.
*) Participates in all necessary team meetings and design sessions in accordance with Scrum ceremonies.
Required Experience:
*) Three (3) years of experience with quality assurance testing of application software using varied testing methodologies.
*) Three (3) years of experience in developing, identifying, and validating appropriate test scripts and test data that ensure software functionality meets end-user expectations.
Preferred Experience:
*) Relevant software QA certifications.
*) Prior experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner.
*) Prior experience documenting user stories or gathering requirements from stakeholders.
*) Prior experience creating user guides or onboarding materials.
*) Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops.
*) Previous work on a dynamic SCRUM team.
