- Pump/ pipe design
- Chemical or Mechanical Engineering degree
- 3 years manufacturing experience
- Assembly process/ robotics
- Process leadership
- Lean manufacturing
- Polymers, polyethylene, foam, PVC, polypropylene
- Chemical industry
- Follow all general safety regulations and use provided safety equipment as required.
- Understand ISO 9001 requirements / company's Quality Policy. Always follow work instructions and procedures as established through the company's Quality Policy.
- Modify existing reporting systems for new methods, new material specifications and new products
- Create new machinery and process systems
- Implement process improvements
- Write and update standard operating procedures
- Train personnel
- Develop and modify foam formulations that meet customer and organization expectations
- Keep area neat, organized and clean as well as follow 5S principles as they are appropriate.
- Cross train in other positions as required.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed by the employee’s supervisor.
- Review KPI metrics such as yield and scrap reports
