Job Summary :
The IT Domain Architect is vital in connecting Enterprise IT needs with technological solutions to boost Clients IT capabilities using Cloud, networking, integration, automation, data analytics, AI, and ML. This role requires collaboration with IT and Business leaders to align technology initiatives with strategies that optimize operations, improve performance, and enable advanced functionalities. They will ensure smooth implementation of new technologies to help IT meet goals and support growth. Responsibilities include guiding investment models and process changes with insightful technical perspectives and analytical decision-making.
Key Responsibilities :
Serves as a consultant across a broad range of technologies to drive targeted IT upliftment outcomes within the Data & Analytics systems, Platform Engineering and Low Code enablement .
Applies extensive techno-functional experience to provide expert analysis, research and design of technical solutions that realize strategic benefits and enhance key IT capabilities : Data Management, Reporting & Analytics, Platform Engineering across Analytics, Automation & Low Code Platforms.
Provides leadership and technical decision making to application teams and initiative stakeholders, ensuring alignment with enterprise and solution architectures, particularly in BI & Data Analytics, Digital Automation, Platform enablement integrated with ERP, WMS, CRM, MDM and other core systems.
Builds effective relationships and collaborates with IT and Business leaders to align roadmaps with operational decisions.
Translates business and technical requirements into actionable architectural blueprints to achieve business objectives.
Defines architectural principles and solution patterns to ensure optimal use of technology within the domain.
Stays current with industry technology trends to research and strategize the implementation of new or alternative technologies to advance business goals and competitive positioning.
Assesses organizational and financial impacts of proposed architectural solutions.
Oversees governance activities to ensure compliance with architecture, development, security and resiliency standards.
Maintains a clear view of the Data Analytics and Digital Automation technical landscape to provide actionable insights that mitigate obsolescence risks, increase compliance with standards and rationalize application and technology investments.
Minimum Job Requirements :
Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
Work Experience :
10 years of experience in IT Architecture and solution development, particularly in Fortune 500 (preferably Life Sciences) or Big 5 consulting companies having modern, Cloud-based technology landscapes.
Verifiable experience in building Data Management solutions, including ingestion & data engineering, modeling, reporting & visualization across various IaaS, PaaS and SaaS technologies.
Proven experience of driving transformation from legacy data and analytics systems to Cloud based modern data architectures.
Deep experience of enabling new platforms in terms of defining strategy, governance, enablement tooling, standards & best practices and establishing CoEs.
Strong exposure to AI and GenAI, and experience of leveraging them to provide operational insights to initiatives in execution.
Visible expertise in guiding development teams and crafting technology strategies and roadmaps.
Proficiency in application migrations and modernizing applications on cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure.
Demonstrated ability to deliver presentations to senior executives and technical audiences.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :
Deep expertise of working in Azure Data Ecosystem (Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, Synapse, MS Fabric, Azure DataBricks, Power BI).
Skilled with common integration patterns between platforms within and across the Azure Data Ecosystem and SAP technologies (SAP ECC, S / 4, HANA DB).
Strong experience of embedded analytics in pro code software engineering platforms (full stack) as well as low code platforms (eg. Power Platform, Outsystems).
Experience of productivity improvements using process mining & RPA technologies, and Gen AI copilots.
Experience of contributing to architecture principles, reference architectures and defining reference architectures.
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to a modern disruptive technology and leading the path of enablement for the application / product teams.
Able to design practical solutions that leverage the benefits of the Cloud having a clear understanding of SaaS, PaaS and IaaS deployment models.
Strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills, ability to navigate critical decision-making conversations.
Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and the ability to support agile teams.
Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise technology architecture components.
Preferred Job Requirements :
Leadership experience in software implementations, upgrades and migrations in healthcare environments having PHI, PII, and HIPAA compliance requirements.
Experience with global multi-site teams.
