Job Responsibilities:
Highly skilled IT professional responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing complex applications on a mainframe platform, utilizing languages like COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS, while leading technical teams, overseeing projects, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical business systems, often requiring in-depth knowledge of mainframe architecture and best practices to troubleshoot complex issues and drive modernization initiatives
Programming Languages: Proficient in COBOL, JCL, and other mainframe programming languages.
Mainframe Technologies: Deep understanding of DB2, CICS, IMS, and other mainframe database and transaction processing systems. Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC):Expertise in the full SDLC, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in a mainframe environment.
Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, including business users, technical teams, and project managers.
