Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced VN.NET/VBA and Microsoft Access Developer to design, develop, and maintain customized solutions that optimize business processes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Microsoft Access, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and VB.NET programming, as well as the ability to work collaboratively to solve complex problems.
Key Responsibilities
· Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft Access databases and applications to support business processes.
· Write and optimize VBA/VB.NET code for automation, integration, and custom functionality.
· Create and maintain user-friendly interfaces for data entry, reporting, and analysis.
· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to database performance, data integrity, and user access.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
· Develop and implement macros and automated processes to streamline workflows.
· Conduct data analysis and create custom reports using Access queries and VBA scripting.
· Ensure the security and integrity of data by implementing appropriate access controls and backup protocols.
· Document technical designs, user manuals, and database structures.
Qualifications and SkillsRequired:
· Proficiency in Microsoft Access, including advanced knowledge of tables, queries, forms, reports, and macros.
· Strong programming skills in VBA for Microsoft Access and other Office applications.
· Strong experience with SQL Server database platform.
· Experience in designing relational database structures and ensuring data normalization.
· Knowledge of SQL for querying and managing data within Access and SQL Server.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to gather and understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
· Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred:
· Experience with integration of Access with other Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
· Previous experience in process automation and workflow optimization.
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field experience.
