DevOps engineer
The DevOps engineer will support all CAPMAN environments including system upgrades, testing, and troubleshooting assistance ensuring maximum uptime. This effort will require occasional after-hours and weekend work.
Work closely with the DHCS' business units as new code revisions are deployed to the core CAPMAN Production and Staging environments following the DHCS' Enterprise Technology Services' (ETS') change control standards and practices.
Work closely with the DHCS' business units to upgrade SQL servers and implement encryption to protect protected health information (PHI)/personal information (PI) data following the DHCS' Information Security Office's (ISO's) guidelines and requirements.
Conduct baseline analysis of system failures and provide resolution of critical system issues in maintaining the persistent CAPMAN Production and Staging environments, while proactively communicating with appropriate individuals/units.
Work with DHCS' business units to execute critical jobs for production web applications, secure managed file transfer automation, and remediate legacy processes and transition them into current technology platforms through detailed system documentation.
Develop maintenance and testing of Disaster Recovery procedures and internal controls to ensure integrity of the systems and database to minimize system downtime/outages with ETS and in accordance with DHCS' governance.

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS
Seven (7) years of FTE experience on a large-scale project, aligning IT systems with organizational business processes.
Five (5) years of FTE experience in the installation/implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting using the following stack:
1. Windows Server Operating System
2. Internet Information Services
3. Windows Services
4. .NET Framework
Three (3) years of experience
1. Experience working on AWS IAM, CLI, EC2 (Windows Server), VPC, Storage Gateway, S3, RDS, EBS, Lambda functions, CloudWatch, Network configurations, Security groups, Security Hub
2. DevOps tool experience such as Jenkins or AWS Code pipeline, Code build, Git or any expertise in building CI/CD platform
3. Python/Boto3, Power Shell scripting,
DESIREABLE QUALIFICATIONS
5 years of experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, AWS Cloud formation, Container Orchestration: Docker/Kubernetes, Application Performance Management (APM) tool: Datadog, Code scanning tool: Checkmarx, Confluence, Jira, Splunk, AWS CDK, Active Directory Integration, Biztalk
