In your role as Human Resources Generalist, you will report to the Sr. Vice President of Administration. Your work location
will be in Westlake, Ohio.
You will work with our Human Resources and Finance teams to support specific initiatives. The Human Resources position
is a generalist who will be responsible for a mix of strategic and operational tasks, including the daily administration of
people-related functions. Duties will include driving people development and assigned strategic efforts, managing company
HR policies, programs and practices, as well as recruiting new team members.

What youll do:
? Represent DataServ in a positive manner to colleagues, customer base and vendors.
? HR Strategy, Planning and Operations:
o Collaborate with senior management on the development and implementation of HR strategies, processes
and procedures to support DataServs business and growth objectives.
o Drive initiatives for employee engagement, retention, and organizational development.
o Work collaboratively with the Finance team on payroll and other similar financial related activities.
o Stay on top of industry best practices and technologies
? Recruiting and Talent Acquisition:
o Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
o Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring and onboarding of qualified job applicants for open positions in
support of department managers goals and objectives.
o Develop strategies to attract top talent, such as campus recruitment or partnerships with agencies.
o Administer new hire orientation and onboarding programs, including company required background check
and employee eligibility verifications.

? Employee Relations and Engagement:
o Serve as a primary point of contact for employees, addressing day-to-day inquiries, resolving workplace
issues, and promoting a supportive and inclusive environment.
o Foster a positive and inclusive workplace environment that embodies the values of DataServ and drives a
productive and employee-centric culture.
o Gauge employee engagement and satisfaction through surveys, one-on-one meetings, and feedback
channels, implementing strategies to enhance morale and productivity.
o If needed, handle employee-related issues that are sensitive in nature regarding employee discipline,
terminations and investigations maintaining confidentiality, as appropriate.
? Performance Management:
o Manage and assist with the development of the annual performance management programs to drive
employee and organizational success
o Identify and address training and development needs based on performance feedback.
o Lead employee recognition programs.
? Training and Development:
o Implement training and development programs to support employee growth and advancement.
o Coordinate leadership development opportunities for high-potential employees.
? Compensation and Benefits:
o Help with the development and maintenance of job descriptions, research current pay practices and identify
compensation levels for recruiting and talent management.
o Assist with the development and administering of programs related to compensation, benefits and leaves,
including healthcare.
o Address employee queries regarding benefits, leaves, and other entitlements.
? HR Technology and Reporting:
o Utilize HRIS software for tracking employee data, managing changes, and generating reports.
o Prepare and present HR metrics such as turnover rates, recruitment efficiency, and employee satisfaction.
o Analyze workforce trends and data to recommend improvements or changes.
? Compliance and Policies:
o Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
o Manage employee personnel files and all related documentation.
o Maintain and update the employee handbook to ensure alignment with current laws, regulations, and
company policies, reflecting best practices and organizational values.
? All other duties as assigned.
What we require:
? Bachelors degree
? 3-5 years of progressive experience in the human resources function
? Previous experience managing a team
? Experience with an ATS and HRMS
? SHRM certification preferred
? Minimal travel to various company and/or customer locations, as necessary
? Pre-employment drug screening required
? Pre-employment drivers license and background checks required
