Under general supervision, the Senior Hospital Eligibility Worker performs financial counseling, screening, and enrollment for medical coverage under the terms of various private and public healthcare and financial assistance programs, including Medi-Cal and Medicare to maximize hospital reimbursement and facilitate patient care.
