The Digital Marketing Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by identifying and securing new clients for digital marketing services. This role involves selling various digital marketing solutions such as SEO, PPC, social media marketing, branding, websites, and content creation. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of digital marketing, excellent sales skills, and the ability to close new business.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Client Acquisition:
- Proactively seek out and engage potential clients through cold calling, networking, and digital outreach.
- Research, identify, and target high-potential prospects that align with our digital marketing services.
- Consistently prospect for new business opportunities with a relentless focus on closing new deals.
- Qualify leads and develop customized proposals to address clients' marketing and business goals.
- Exhibit a hunter mentality by actively pursuing and winning new business.
- Take initiative in developing sales strategies to open doors and generate business with little direction.
- Maintain a high level of activity in your sales pipeline, ensuring a steady stream of potential clients.
- Confidently lead sales meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure contracts.
- Build strong relationships with clients to establish long-term partnerships and upsell additional services.
- Reporting & Performance Tracking:
- Regularly update management on sales progress and projections.
- Keep detailed records of all sales activities using CRM tools, ensuring leads, communications, and sales funnels are up-to-date.
- Track and analyze the performance of sales strategies to continuously optimize the approach.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Digital Marketing Sales experience is a plus
- Proven track record of success in sales
- Strong hunter mentality with the ability to independently generate leads and close deals.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong self-motivation, resilience, and the drive to exceed sales targets.
- Familiarity with CRM tools
- Living in the Midwest is a plus
