DataStaff, Inc. is currently seeking a Business Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients in Richmond, VA.
*This position is remote.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, test, and document computer programs, applying knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems.
- Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs.
- Assist system users with production support.
- Evaluate user requests for new or modified programs.
- Support a newly developed system related to grants and contract management.
- Provide production support and test configuration changes.
- Make administrative data entries into the system on behalf of system users.
- Be part of a team responsible for supporting legacy systems in the Family Services Division.
- Receive training in the system.
Required Skills:
- 3-5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience writing and executing test cases and accurately reporting findings.
- Demonstrated experience eliciting, developing, and writing user stories/requirements.
