What are the responsibilities and job description for the EHR/Health IT Account Systems Administrator position at DataStaff, Inc.?
DataStaff, Inc. is in need of an EHR/Health IT Account Systems Administrator for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients located in Richmond, VA
*This position is hybrid, 4 days will be onsite
Responsibilities:
- Identify and quantify IT risk factors for EHR application security and related infrastructure.
- Create, change, and delete user accounts per request.
- Provide Tier III/other support per request from various constituencies.
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues.
- Diagnose and recover from hardware or software failures.
- Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies.
- Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.
- Configure/add new services as necessary.
- Upgrade and configure system software that supports GIS infrastructure applications or Asset Management applications per project or operational needs.
- Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures. Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning.
- Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Must have excellent organization and planning skills, and an understanding of the utilization of technology in the business processes for the Electronic Health Records (EHR) program.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Permission, PC refresh and software installations, inventory and software management utilizing Asset Panda, manage user accounts, receive and transfer inventory to maintain accurate records.
- The ability to communicate effectively both in oral and written forms is essential.
Required Skills:
- 5 Years - Working knowledge and experience with Keystone Edge, Microsoft OS, MS Office, DocuSign, Panda, Remote tools, DEXIS, Adobe, Teams/SharePoint, VPN access, and inventory operations.
- 5 Years - Create, change, and delete user accounts per request.
- 5 Years - Diagnose and recover from hardware or software failures.
- 5 Years - Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools
- 5 Years - Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures
Desired Skill:
- Experience in a recognized Electronic Health Record System (EHR)
