DataStaff Inc. is seeking an IT Purchasing Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients located in the Richmond, VA area.

Job Responsibilities:
- Perform procurement tasks, reviews invoices, update budgets and coordinate with the Procurement Office in support of information technology projects
- Perform procurement tasks such as working with suppliers to obtain quotes
- Enter requisitions in the state procurement system (eVA)
- Track requisition processing to ensure timely completion
- Propose and process contract amendments
- Assist with enforcement of vendor contract terms
- Review and recommend approval/denial of invoices
- Evaluate expenses to identify and record expenses related to IT projects
- Updates project budgets and grants, and coordinates activities with the Procurement Office, IT Division and grant managers
- Provides management with reports that describe current procurement activities, invoices and bills processed, and budget and grant balances
Required Skills:
- 2 Years - Candidates must have 2 years of IT procurement experience, able to learn Commonwealth of Virginia, procurement policies and systems.
- 2 Years - Must have very good skills in operating computers and using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- 2 Years - Be able to plan, organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- 2 Years - Strong communication skills (oral and written, in English).
- 2 Years - Must have experience working with contracts, invoice processing and budgets
