Primary Duties:
- Server & Desktop Management: Install, maintain, and upgrade servers, desktop computers, software, and peripheral equipment.
- Network Design & Implementation: Design and implement network infrastructures for new office builds and relocations.
- Network Configuration: Configure, install, and maintain industry-standard small business routers, switches, and wireless infrastructure.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, printing, and network connectivity issues, including LAN, WAN, and VPN access in a Windows Desktop and Server environment.
- Customer Support: Provide both on-site and remote technical support within a 50-mile radius of the Big Lake area.
- Documentation: Accurately document customer IT configurations and keep all documentation current and detailed.
- VOIP Systems: Install and support VoIP phone systems.
- Backup Systems: Install and maintain both local and cloud-based backup systems, antivirus software, and power solutions.
- Microsoft Office 365: Support Microsoft Office 365 Suite on desktop and handheld devices.

- Organizational Skills: Highly organized with strict attention to detail. Ability to multitask effectively and manage multiple priorities.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Windows Operating Systems (Windows 7, 8, 10, and 11) and Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2021 and 2024).
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, Active Directory, and Hyper-V.
- Familiarity with VPN, Routing, Telephony, and Firewall technologies is a plus.
- Documentation & Procedure Adherence: Must be able to document procedures and work progress accurately, follow documented procedures meticulously, and pay attention to detail in all tasks.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications:
- Valid MN Driver’s License required.
- 2-year degree in Computer Systems Support preferred.
- Microsoft Technical accreditation preferred.
