Job Summary
Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Building Maintenance the candidate will perform a variety of work in the repair and maintenance of structures and equipment for Dataw Island buildings and facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Painting street signs to enhance visibility and aesthetics.
Power wash buildings and facilities to maintain cleanliness.
Assist with preventive maintenance for all buildings and facilities on the island.
Perform routine inspections and minor repairs as needed.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
Performs all duties as directed and necessary for maintenance and repairs buildings and equipment.
Employment Standards
· Experience in light carpentry, painting, electricity, plumbing and HVAC
- Requires physical labor with ability to climb ladders
- Proficient with hand tools
- Mechanical aptitude
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to follow written and oral directs
- Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions
- Goal Oriented
Availability and Schedule
· 24 - 29 hours per week.
- Available for occasional calls after hours, weekends and overtime as necessary
