Marina Dock Attendant/Equipment Operator
We are seeking a Part-time Marina Equipment Operator/Dock Attendant to join our team.
Job Summary:
Operating and maintaining various types of equipment in a safe and efficient manner while assisting with on-demand tasks on the docks.
Job Duties:
- Operates equipment including marina forklift and marina travel lift, golf carts, tractors, and boats as required.
- Aids members and guests on the docks as they are departing and returning, assists in launching, retrieving boats, fueling boats, and all on-demand dock needs.
- Performs routine maintenance on equipment. Ensure equipment is operated in a safe manner.
- Follows all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Reports any equipment malfunctions or issues to the supervisor.
- Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by the Harbor Master
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Equipment Operator or similar role.
- Boating and mechanical knowledge is preferred.
- Ability to operate equipment efficiently and safely.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Comfortable working outside and near the water
- Good communication skills
- Push, pull or lift 50 pounds.
- Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping and pulling.
Job Type: Part-time

- 8 hour shift
