What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time Marketing Assistant position at Dataw Island?
Job Summary: Seeking an organized, motivated, well-versed (or willing to learn!) Marketing Assistant to join our team. You will perform a variety of tasks, in a supportive environment where every day is different. Duties include database management; sales support (this position requires no selling); and supporting the marketing & communications efforts of the department. Depending on applicant’s aptitudes and skills, this can include email marketing, social media, public relations follow-up, writing, representing the community at events, photography/videography, and other various tasks (training provided).
Applicant must have good computer skills and an eagerness to learn new computer programs as necessary. Interpersonal skills are also necessary, as you will be interacting with members and prospective members.
Position is ideal for a recent Marketing grad, Marketing student, someone looking to re-enter the workforce, or an administrative professional who seeks to broaden their skills.
