Job Title: Building Controls Field Engineer
Location: Central USA - Remote - with travel across the region

The position
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors (electrical, mechanical, etc.)
- Install and wire BAS controllers and field devices
- Oversee job site logistics and materials
- Ensure smooth BAS operations, testing, and quality assurance
- Collaborate with external stakeholders and project teams
- Analyze and validate system performance
- Provide daily site updates and safety reports
- Document progress and track issues
- Assist with proposals, surveys, and audits
- Attend bid walks and contribute technical expertise
Could this role be for you?
- 5 years of experience in BAS controls, installation, or commissioning
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Excellent communication & leadership skills
- Willingness to travel up to 75% to project sites
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, or a related field
- NFPA70E and/or OSHA certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with Distech Controls & Tridium Niagara

Salary : $100,000 - $135,000
