Your Role
As a Commissioning Engineering Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of data center construction projects, ensuring seamless commissioning, problem-solving, and driving project efficiency. You’ll lead a high-performing team, manage scheduling, oversee financial performance, and foster strong client relationships.
What You'll Do
- Oversee and manage commissioning processes for large-scale data centers
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring top performance
- Drive business development, expand client relationships, and promote services
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all technical specifications
- Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and problem-solving
- Travel to project sites as needed
What You Bring
- Engineering or Construction Management Degree (HVACR, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
- 7 years in the commissioning industry (Cx), or equivalent experience in maintenance, construction, or engineering controls
- Strong knowledge of building systems, construction drawings, and commissioning software
- Proven leadership in managing teams, projects, and client relationships
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in varying conditions (indoor/outdoor environments) and lift at least 30 lbs
- Tech-Savvy – Proficient in Microsoft Office & Cx Software
Bonus Skills (Preferred but Not Required)
- P.E., CCP, CxA, CEM certifications
- OSHA 30 or workplace safety certifications
- Experience with trade associations
